Instructions
- Freeze the slices of bread for at least one hour to make slicing easier.
- Prepare the cream cheese spread by mixing cream cheese, dill, garlic powder, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and green onion until smooth.
- Peel the cucumber if desired and slice it very thinly.
- Spread about 1.5 Tbsp of cream cheese on each slice of bread.
- Layer cucumber slices on one piece of bread and top with another slice, cream cheese side facing the cucumbers.
- Trim the crusts and cut the sandwich into two or four pieces.
- Serve the sandwiches within 1-2 hours of assembly.
