Ingredients

The margarita

  • 6 chunks fresh Pineapple
  • 2-3 slices fresh Jalapeno
  • tiny pinch Sea Salt
  • 4 oz. Tequila
  • 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 2 oz. fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 oz. Triple Sec
  • 1 tsp. Agave Syrup

The rim

  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • ½ tsp. Sea Salt
  • ¼ tsp. Chili Powder
  • ¼ tsp. freshly cracked Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Muddle the pineapple chunks, jalapeno slices, and a pinch of salt in a cocktail shaker until the pineapple is mostly broken down.
  2. Add tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, triple sec, and agave syrup to the shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously.
  3. Combine the rim ingredients on a plate. Run a pineapple or lime wedge around the rims of two glasses and dip them into the mixture.
  4. Fill the glasses with ice, strain the margarita into the glasses, and garnish with a pineapple chunk or lime wedge.
