Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan with aluminum foil and cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, whip the softened cream cheese until smooth, then mix in sour cream, sugar, and flour until well combined.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave in intervals until smooth.
- Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla into the melted chocolate mixture until well combined.
- Add flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until no dry streaks remain.
- Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, then dollop the cream cheese mixture on top and spread it evenly.
- Microwave the reserved brownie batter briefly to soften, then drizzle it over the cream cheese layer.
- Optionally, swirl the brownie batter into the cream cheese layer for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for 2-3 hours before cutting into squares.
