The eggs

  • 4 large eggs

The water

  • 1 pot water
  • to taste none salt
  • a bit none olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then reduce to the lowest setting.
  2. 2. Place a fine mesh strainer over a bowl and coat it with olive oil.
  3. 3. Crack an egg into the strainer and let the excess egg white drain into the bowl.
  4. 4. Place the strainer with the egg into the simmering water and allow the egg white to start cooking.
  5. 5. Gently tip the strainer to let the egg yolk fold over the egg white.
  6. 6. Stir the water gently to create a whirlpool effect and let the egg poach for 3-4 minutes.
  7. 7. Repeat with remaining eggs and serve.
