Herb Butter Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

The chicken

  • 5 pieces boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/3 lb chicken thighs (each)

The seasoning

  • pinch salt
  • pinch pepper
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ Tbsp Italian seasoning herb blend

The sauce

  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • handful fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  3. Cook the chicken thighs for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through, then remove them from the skillet.
  4. Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, stirring to dissolve browned bits, and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until reduced by half.
  6. Add butter to the sauce and stir until melted.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it, garnishing with parsley if desired.
