Instructions
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla.
- Preheat a griddle to medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter on it.
- Soak 4 slices of bread in the egg mixture and place on the griddle, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Clean the griddle and repeat with the remaining butter and bread slices.
- While the French toast is cooking, prepare the cream cheese filling by beating the cream cheese until fluffy, then mixing in the powdered sugar.
- Cut the cooked French toast slices in half diagonally.
- On each plate, layer one slice of French toast, add 1-2 tablespoons of cream cheese filling, followed by 2 tablespoons of raspberries and 1 tablespoon of almonds.
- Top with another slice of French toast and repeat the layering process.
- Garnish with remaining raspberries, almonds, and cream cheese filling, and serve with maple syrup.
