Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth (or water with 1 teaspoon of beef base)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Gather and prepare all ingredients by chopping the bell pepper and onion, and mincing the garlic.
  2. 2. In a medium frying pan, cook the ground meat over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces until it is nearly cooked through, about 7 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in the chopped vegetables and cook until the meat is fully cooked.
  4. 4. Add the tomato paste, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and broth to the pan, stirring to combine.
  5. 5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes.
