Ingredients

The pizza

  • 2 pound pre-made pizza dough
  • 8 ounce shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Romano cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian parsley, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

The chicken and pasta

  • 12 ounce chicken strips
  • 8 ounce pasta
  • 8 ounce pasta sauce

Instructions

  1. Coat a large bowl with olive oil and place the pizza dough inside, covering it completely.
  2. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm area for about 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  4. Flour a work surface and roll out the dough to form a rectangle slightly larger than your pan.
  5. Lightly coat the sheet pan with olive oil and transfer the dough to the pan, forming a crust around the edges.
  6. Allow the dough to rise in the pan for about 10 minutes.
  7. Mix the spices with two tablespoons of olive oil and brush the mixture over the crust.
  8. Bake the dough for 7-10 minutes until lightly browned.
  9. Place chicken tenders on a baking sheet and heat in the oven for 10-12 minutes until fully cooked.
  10. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and mix with the pasta sauce.
  11. Spread the prepared pasta over the cooked pizza crust.
  12. Slice the chicken tenders and place them on top of the pasta.
  13. Top with shredded mozzarella and parsley.
  14. Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  15. Cut into squares and enjoy!
