Instructions
- Heat melted butter in a skillet over medium heat and add panko breadcrumbs, granulated onion, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and grated lemon, mixing until browned.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a baking tray.
- Slice the chicken breasts and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk the eggs in a shallow plate, dip the chicken in the egg, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Fry the chicken in oil until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Place the chicken on the baking tray, top with pasta sauce, Parmesan, mozzarella, and basil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
