Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and coat a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the penne pasta according to package directions.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add onion, and cook until softened.
- Add chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the pan, cooking until the chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in marinara sauce and chopped basil, then combine with the drained pasta in the baking dish.
- Top the mixture with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted, then serve.
