Ingredients

The flatbread

  • 2 cups cooked garbanzo beans
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herb blend
  • ½ teaspoon Herbamare

For baking

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 500°F with a 12-inch cast iron skillet inside.
  2. Puree the cooked garbanzo beans, eggs, water, olive oil, Italian herb blend, and Herbamare in a blender or food processor.
  3. Once the oven reaches temperature, carefully remove the skillet and add a tablespoon of olive oil.
  4. Pour the batter into the skillet and spread it out evenly.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve as is or add pizza toppings and bake for a few more minutes.
  7. Slice into 4 or 6 pieces while still in the pan.
