Make-Ahead Berry Yogurt Parfaits

Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the berries, cooking for about 5 minutes.
- Combine cornstarch and hot water in a small dish, then add to the berries with sugar.
- Cook until the mixture thickens, then let it cool before refrigerating for about an hour.
- To assemble, layer ¾ cup of yogurt with 2 ½ tablespoons of berry sauce in jars.
- Repeat until all ingredients are used, seal the jars, and refrigerate.
