Ingredients

  • 1 piece New York Strip steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste bourbon smoked sea salt
  • to taste ground bourbon smoked pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Big Green Egg to 600 degrees.
  2. Rub the steak with olive oil, bourbon smoked sea salt, and ground bourbon smoked pepper.
  3. Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill the steak for 2 minutes on each side.
  5. Close the daisy wheel and bottom vent to roast the steak for an additional 4 minutes.
  6. Remove the steak from the grill and tent it under foil for 10 minutes to rest.
