Easy Oven Roasted Strip Steak

Instructions
- Bring the steak to room temperature.
- Preheat a cast iron skillet in the oven, about 6 inches below the broiler for 20 minutes.
- Pat the steak dry and coat both sides with ghee.
- Generously sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper on both sides of the steak.
- Carefully place the steak in the hot skillet and broil.
- Set the timer for 3 minutes for rare or 5 minutes for medium.
- Flip the steak and broil for the same amount of time as the first side.
- Remove the skillet and let the steak rest for 5 minutes before serving.
