Instructions
- Remove steaks from refrigerator 20 minutes before grilling and let them stand at room temperature.
- Heat the grill on high for 10 to 15 minutes and clean the cooking grate.
- Brush each steak with olive oil and season with kosher salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place steaks on the grill and cook until browned and charred on one side, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Flip the steaks and grill for an additional 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare, 5 to 7 minutes for medium, or 8 to 10 minutes for medium-well.
- Transfer the steaks to a platter, tent with aluminum foil, and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
