Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides and let them sit at room temperature for 5 to 30 minutes.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat, then add olive oil, butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme, cooking for 2-3 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Add the steaks to the pan and sear for 3 minutes on each side until a crust forms.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook the steaks for an additional 6 minutes, or until desired doneness.
- Remove from the oven and let the steaks rest for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
