Ingredients

The base

  • ½ cup salted butter, melted
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

The topping

  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch or 9-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  2. Mix the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and confectioners’ sugar in a medium bowl.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of peanut butter and press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  4. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of peanut butter with the chocolate chips until smooth.
  5. Spread the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator until firm, at least 2 hours.
  7. Allow to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
