The bread

Instructions
- Wash and finely dice the tomatoes, removing seeds and jelly; lightly drain.
- In a large bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped onions, and sliced basil.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, black pepper, and salt, then pour over the tomato mixture and mix well.
- Allow the mixture to sit at room temperature for about 1 hour.
- Cut the baguette diagonally into ¾ inch thick slices.
- Spread melted butter and garlic mix on the sliced bread.
- Toast the bread in a pan or in the oven until lightly browned.
- Top the toasted bread with the bruschetta mixture and serve.
