Instructions
- Combine chopped tomatoes and finely grated garlic in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and mix with olive oil and vinegar. Let marinate for 2-3 hours.
- Toast or grill the bread slices until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
- Rub the toasted bread with the cut side of the remaining garlic clove, then mix the chopped basil into the tomato mixture. Season to taste.
- Arrange the bread on a platter and spoon the tomato topping over each slice.
