Instructions
- Mix together the chopped tomatoes, grated garlic, vinegar, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Stir in olives and capers if using.
- Drizzle olive oil on the bread slices and grill until lightly charred, or toast in the oven.
- Rub the hot bread with the cut side of the garlic.
- Top the bread with the tomato mixture and fresh basil.
