Instructions
- In a medium pot, combine the oats, chopped apple, chia seeds, cinnamon, ginger, salt, almond milk, maple syrup, and applesauce.
- Cook over medium heat for about 9 to 15 minutes, stirring often until thickened and the oats are soft.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and lemon juice if using.
- Serve in bowls and add your desired toppings.
