Crockpot Bone Broth

Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds chicken and/or beef bones
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 medium carrot, sliced
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 2-4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black peppercorns
  • several sprigs fresh rosemary and/or thyme
  • enough water to cover ingredients

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a crockpot.
  2. Fill with enough water to cover the ingredients.
  3. Cook on low for 24-48 hours, adding more water as needed to keep the bones covered.
  4. Let the broth cool slightly before straining through a fine mesh strainer.
  5. Store in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 7 days.
