Crockpot Bone Broth

fresh herbs (sage, rosemary, oregano, parsley, etc.)

Instructions
- Place the bones in the crockpot, filling it about ½ to ¾ full.
- Chop the vegetables and add them along with herbs and peppercorns to the crockpot.
- Fill the crockpot with water, season with salt, and add apple cider vinegar.
- Cook on low for 18 to 48 hours, depending on the desired broth flavor intensity.
- Strain the broth through a strainer and let it cool.
- Remove the layer of fat from the top and discard it. Store the broth in a jar in the fridge for up to a week or freeze it for later use.
