Ingredients

The cake

  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 ½ tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons dark or semisweet chocolate chips

Optional toppings

  • to taste vanilla frozen yogurt
  • to taste whipped cream
  • to taste extra chocolate chips
  • to taste extra nut butter

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a microwave-safe mug.
  2. Add the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and peanut butter, then mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Microwave on HIGH for 90 seconds, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  5. Let cool for a few minutes before adding any desired toppings.
