Ingredients

The seasoning

The pork chops

  • 4 pieces bone-in pork chops (about 2 inches thick, ~2 lbs.)

The cooking oil and sauce

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon bbq sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the garlic powder, chili powder, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
  2. Season the pork chops with the spice mixture on both sides and let them sit for at least 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and drizzle olive oil in the basket.
  4. Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket, ensuring they lay flat.
  5. Cook the pork chops for 5 minutes, then flip them over.
  6. If using BBQ sauce, spread it over each pork chop and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Remove the pork chops from the air fryer and let them cool for 5 minutes before serving.
