Ingredients

Stir Fry Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4–5 cups vegetables, cut to bite-sized portions

Sauce Ingredients

  • ¼ cup chicken or vegetable stock
  • 2 Tbsp. grated or minced fresh ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. sherry
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • generous pinch freshly-ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add minced garlic, stir-frying for 1 minute.
  2. Add the bite-sized vegetables and stir-fry for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients.
  4. Add the sauce to the stir-fry and continue cooking until the sauce is boiling.
  5. Cook for an additional minute, then remove from heat and serve. Optionally garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
