Ingredients

The chicken wings

  • 10 whole chicken wings

Tikka Marinade

  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 1 ½ tablespoons ground coriander
  • 2 teaspoons ground chili pepper
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons salt
  • ½ bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice

Citrus Cilantro Sauce

  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup full fat coconut milk
  • ½ bunch cilantro
  • teaspoon salt (or more to taste)
  • 1-2 tablespoons erythritol (or your favorite sweetener)

Instructions

  1. Separate the chicken wings into wing and drumette pieces, discarding the tips.
  2. Combine the marinade ingredients in a large zip-lock bag and add the chicken wings, marinating for 24-48 hours.
  3. Preheat the grill and oil the grill grate.
  4. Remove wings from the marinade, blot with paper towels, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill the wings for about 10 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  6. While the wings are grilling, blend the sauce ingredients in a blender and adjust the seasoning to taste.
  7. Serve the wings with the sauce poured over them or on the side.
