The sauce

marinara sauce

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Add ½ cup of marinara sauce to the bottom of a baking dish.
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the manicotti shells until just softened, then drain.
- In a large bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Romano, eggs, and all seasonings until well combined.
- Fill the manicotti shells with the cheese mixture and place them in the baking dish.
- Top the filled shells with the remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and parsley.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
