Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

The eggs

  • 7 large eggs

The filling

  • 3 ½ Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 3 tsp minced fresh chives
  • tsp cayenne pepper
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

The garnish

  • 2 slices bacon
  • to taste paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook the eggs by steaming or hard boiling and let them cool in ice water.
  2. Peel the eggs and slice them in half.
  3. Transfer the yolks to a mixing bowl and mash them with a fork.
  4. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, 2 tsp of chives, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to the yolks and mix until smooth.
  5. Transfer the yolk mixture to a piping bag and pipe it into the egg whites.
  6. Garnish with bacon, remaining chives, and sprinkle with paprika before serving.
