Instructions
- Boil the eggs in a pot covered with cold water, then turn off the heat and let them sit covered for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Transfer the eggs to an ice water bath for 14 minutes to cool.
- Peel the eggs under cool running water and pat dry.
- Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, and hot sauce to the yolks and mash until creamy, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture and garnish with paprika, chives, and/or dill.
