Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

The eggs

  • 12 pieces eggs

The filling

  • cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Garnishes (optional)

  • to taste fresh dill
  • to taste paprika

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a medium saucepan and place eggs in a steamer basket above the water.
  2. Cover and cook for 13 minutes, then transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes.
  3. Once cooled, crack the eggs and remove the shells.
  4. Halve the eggs lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a bowl.
  5. Mash the yolks and mix in mayonnaise, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  6. Pipe or spoon the filling back into the egg whites and garnish with dill or paprika if desired.
