Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine buckwheat groats, oats, nuts, coconut, chia seeds, coconut sugar, sea salt, and cinnamon.
- In a small saucepan, warm the oil and maple syrup until melted and combined, then add nut butter if using.
- Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well to coat.
- Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Add dried fruit while the granola is still warm, or chocolate after it has cooled.
- Store in an airtight container for a few weeks or freeze for longer storage.
