Ingredients

The pickles

  • 6 small gherkin cucumbers
  • 1-2 large cucumbers

The seasoning

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 leaves bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons dill, fresh and finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons celtic sea salt
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  1. Wash cucumbers and place them in a wide mouth one quart mason jar.
  2. Add garlic, bay leaves, and dill to the jar with the cucumbers.
  3. Close the jar and let it sit for one hour.
  4. Mix salt and water together.
  5. Fill the jar with the salt water mixture to the top.
  6. Cover the jar and let it sit in a cool place for 7 days.
  7. Serve and store in the fridge after opening.
