Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Melt the chocolate chips and butter together in a bowl using a microwave or double-boiler method.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla, salt, sugar, and cacao until smooth.
- Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and stir until fully combined.
- Grease four 4-inch ramekins and divide the batter evenly among them.
- Bake for 25-27 minutes until the middle is set.
- Allow the cakes to cool slightly before serving.
- Top with chocolate shavings and serve with vanilla ice cream if desired.
