Simple Whole Wheat Challah Bread

Instructions
- Dissolve yeast and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar in lukewarm water and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Whisk in olive oil, then beat in 4 eggs one at a time, along with the remaining brown sugar and salt.
- Gradually add flour until the dough holds together, then knead on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes.
- Grease a bowl, place the dough inside, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough, cover, and let it rise again for another 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough in half and form one half into 3 strands, then braid them together.
- If baking immediately, preheat the oven to 375°F. Brush the loaves with beaten egg and let them rise for another hour.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden, then cool on a rack.
