Ingredients

  • 2 cups blanched almond flour
  • ¼ teaspoon celtic sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Combine almond flour, salt, and baking soda in a food processor.
  2. Pulse in honey, egg, and orange zest until mixed.
  3. Briefly pulse in poppy seeds.
  4. Roll out the dough to ½-inch thickness between two pieces of parchment paper.
  5. Chill the dough in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  6. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes from the dough.
  7. Transfer the shapes to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 12-17 minutes.
  9. Cool for 30 minutes before serving.
