Ingredients

The scone mixture

  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar or honey

Instructions

  1. Combine the almond flour, salt, baking soda, cranberries, chocolate chips, and orange zest in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, mix the egg and honey.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Knead the dough by hand to ensure even distribution of ingredients.
  5. Form the dough into two circles, each ½-inch thick.
  6. Cut each circle into 8 slices, like a pizza.
  7. Transfer the slices to a parchment-lined baking sheet using a metal spatula.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 10 minutes.
  9. Serve warm.
