Ingredients

  • cups almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp Primal Palate Gingersnap spice
  • ½ cup applesauce
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp blackstrap molasses
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • ¾ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup dairy-free chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the almond flour, baking soda, gingerbread spices, and salt.
  3. Add the applesauce, eggs (or flax eggs), maple syrup, molasses, and vanilla to the dry ingredients.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Bake for 15-17 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top if desired, allowing them to melt.
