Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger
  • ½ medium lemon or lime, juiced
  • cup light coconut milk
  • cups chopped frozen pineapple
  • 1 small ripe frozen banana
  • 1 large handful spinach
  • 1 small handful kale
  • cup unsweetened plain almond milk
  • ¾ cup filtered water
  • 1 Tbsp flaxseed meal
  • 1 Tbsp raw hulled hemp seeds
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to the blender in the order listed.
  2. Blend thoroughly on high speed until completely smooth.
  3. If the mixture isn't blending well, add more water or almond milk.
  4. Blend for 1-2 minutes to ensure everything is well combined.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed.
  6. Serve immediately and store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
