Instructions
- Whisk together all syrup ingredients in a medium pot over medium heat and simmer for about 5 to 6 minutes until smooth.
- Remove from heat and let cool, then store leftovers in a jar.
- Prepare the espresso or purchase from a coffee shop.
- Heat almond milk in a small pot until it simmers, then froth using a milk frother or French press.
- Pour hot espresso into a mug, top with frothy milk, and add 3 to 4 teaspoons of syrup to taste.
- Garnish with a dash of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice and Coconut Whipped Cream if desired, then serve immediately.
