Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in the butter until crumbly, or grate it into the flour mixture.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until large clumps form.
- Fold in the chocolate chips or chunks.
- Knead the dough gently until it holds together, then shape it into a rectangle.
- Cut the dough into 12 wedges and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool, then whisk together glaze ingredients and drizzle over the scones.
