Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
- Whisk together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Beat the butter and sugar until creamy, then add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- Incorporate the sour cream, then add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Slowly pour in the milk and mix until combined, being careful not to over-mix.
- Spoon the batter into the liners, filling them about ⅔ full.
- Bake for 19-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting with chocolate buttercream and adding sprinkles.
