Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
- Whisk together the cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Beat the softened butter and sugar until creamy, then add egg whites and vanilla, mixing well.
- Incorporate the sour cream, then add the dry ingredients gradually, mixing until just combined.
- Slowly add the milk and mix until smooth, then gently fold in the sprinkles.
- Fill the cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter and bake for 19-22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting with buttercream.
