Summer Blackberry Basil Pizza

Ingredients

The pizza base

  • 1 ball Whole Foods Market multigrain pizza dough
  • 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove minced garlic

The toppings

  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella bocconcini, sliced
  • 1 pint organic blackberries
  • Lots fresh basil
  • Pinch red pepper flakes
  • Drizzle honey
  • Pinches sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Combine olive oil and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Stretch the pizza dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet and brush with garlic oil.
  4. Top the dough with ¾ of the mozzarella and blackberries.
  5. Bake for about 12 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and add the remaining mozzarella, blackberries, and lots of basil.
  7. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and sea salt, then drizzle with olive oil and honey.
  8. Slice and serve.
