Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, coating it with non-stick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flours, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the wet ingredients: applesauce, coffee, canola oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 15 minutes, until the edges are set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving.
