Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a doughnut pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients for the doughnuts and stir until mixed.
- In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients until fully combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined; let the batter sit for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Spoon the batter into the doughnut molds, filling just below the top.
- Bake for 18-23 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
- Let the doughnuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
- For the frosting, beat the frosting ingredients together until smooth, adjusting milk or sugar as needed.
- Spread the frosting onto cooled doughnuts and garnish with sprinkles if desired.
