Instructions
- Prepare the brine by combining all brine ingredients in a pot, bringing to a simmer until dissolved, then cooling.
- Submerge the turkey breast in the brine and refrigerate for 8-12 hours.
- Remove the turkey from the brine, rinse, and pat dry.
- Preheat the smoker to 250°F and prepare wood chips.
- Coat a pan with cooking spray and place the turkey in it.
- Sprinkle BBQ rub over the turkey breast.
- Place the pan in the smoker and cook for about 3 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let the turkey rest for 5-10 minutes, garnish with herbs, slice, and serve.
