Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and roll the pie dough into an 11-inch circle.
- Transfer the dough to a 9-inch pie dish and flute the edges, then blind bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the foil and weights, and bake for an additional 3 minutes until light golden.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook the chopped broccoli for 4 minutes, then add green onions and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and cayenne.
- Scatter the broccoli mixture in the crust, sprinkle with cheddar and half of the parmesan, then pour the egg mixture over it.
- Bake for 40 to 50 minutes until set, let rest for 5 to 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
