Instructions
- Add apple juice, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise, whole cloves, whole allspice, and ginger root to a large pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cover for 2-3 hours.
- Add the spiced rum to the mixture and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove the fruit and spices from the pot and serve.
