Hot Spiced Apple Cider

Instructions
- Chop the apples and cut the orange into quarters.
- Add the fruit, spices, and filtered water to the slow cooker and stir.
- Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- One hour before finishing, mash the fruits and stir in the maple syrup.
- Continue cooking for the last hour.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth and serve warm.
